Colorizing a black-and-white photo sounds tough since you go from a single color (gray) with its shades to three different colors (red, green, blue), meaning that the colorization could be done in many different ways. If you have some black-and-white photos you'd want to see in natural colors, make sure you check out the Image Colorizer app.
Image Colorizer is a free Android app you can use to colorize images for free. The app is very simple: you upload the photo you'd like to colorize and you wait for the colorization to complete in the cloud. After that, you can preview or download the colorized image to your device. The app keeps records of the last 5 photos you've colorized and they are available for access from the cloud for 24 hours, so make sure you download them on time.
The photos are colorized using AI technology which is very fast and your photos will be ready in no time. The tool is also incredibly accurate and it has always displayed an accurate representation of what the photo's actual color palette might be like. To summarize, the app works as advertised and it provides no more and no less of what its name suggests, which is a rare thing in today's mobile market.
Unfortunately, the app currently doesn't support images where height or width surpasses 1200 px, which means you won't be able to colorize your high-quality black-and-white photos. Besides that, Image Colorizer is a useful app and everyone who needs this functionality should look no further.
